  • Does Arid Ocean software contain spyware, adware or viruses?
    • None what so ever! Arid Ocean software is guaranteed to be virus-free and we never include any spyware or adware in our program.
However, software pirates sometimes provide cracked versions which contain malicious code. You should always make sure that you download software from safe and reliable sites only.
  • Will Arid Ocean software run on a notebook computer?
    • Many older notebooks are built with graphics chipsets that don't support pixel shaders. Arid Ocean software will not run on such notebooks. Newer notebooks, however, with graphics chipsets suitable for 3D games will also run Arid Ocean software. Therefore we strongly recommend to test the trial version to see if it works on your computer.
  • Will Arid Ocean software support widescreen monitors?
    • Arid Ocean software supports all resolutions allowed by your graphics card. It will automatically adjust itself to the correct aspect ratio.
  • Will Arid Ocean software support dual monitors?
    • The drivers for NVIDIA and ATI graphics cards allow you to treat dual monitors as a single screen area. If you run Arid Ocean software on such a configuration, it will seamlessly span both monitors. There will be no black borders or duplicated backgrounds as often seen with usual aquarium screensavers. You'll need a good video card to run such large resolutions, though. See your driver's documentation and control panel for further instructions on how to enable this modus.
Other graphics card drivers often do not have such a modus. On these cards Arid Ocean software will run on one monitor only.
